Alpine Mediterranean kitchen
2023 is the ninth year that Merano-born chef Alexander Nagler has headed Ortler's gourmet kitchen. He spoils the palate of our guests with his down-to-earth, Alpine Mediterranean cuisine made from products of the region and the hotel's own Kalchgruber fruit farm.
Our service team, under the direction of Mr. Zsolt, selects fine wines from South Tyrol and Italy to match the regional dishes. Mr. Zsolt has been in charge of service at the Wohlfühlhotel Ortler for 18 years now, and his charming, obliging manner makes a decisive contribution to the feel-good character of our hotel.

Would you like to have a hearty breakfast in the morning, then enjoy the whole day at your leisure and eat where and when you like in the evening?
Then book your feel-good holiday only with a gourmet breakfast. You start your holiday day with a colourful, varied breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the light-flooded dining room or gladly outside in Ortler's alpine Mediterranean garden.
Gourmet half-board:
Do you love to relax in the evening and dine in your holiday home?
Then we look forward to your booking including half board. Enjoy Chef Alexander's 5-course gourmet menu in our cosy parlours or the bright dining room with a view of the garden.
Dinner starts between 18:30 and 19:00. On Mondays, our kitchen team has its day off (breakfast only).
